FAQ

What is the process?

First you fill out an inquiry by clicking contact.  From there we usually set up a consultation either in our studio (address and map can be found on the CONTACT page) or over the phone consultation.  We like to hear likes / dislikes about the current work in our portfolio and really find out what kind of couple you are.  From there, we come out and film the wedding and then post production begins.  Post production usually takes 2-3 months for the full project to be completed.  Wedding Trailers and demo DVDs are sometimes released earlier, but we never rush the editing of a wedding.  This is a video that years from now will take you back to one of the happiest days of your life, so we take our time and make sure to deliver the best possible product.

How involved can the client be?

As much as you want! You are welcome to give your input on any aspect of the production, after all this is your video! We want you to be happy with the product and we will do whatever we can to accommodate any requests.

How do you capture audio?

This is one of the most asked questions from all of our clients.  We use wireless microphones to capture all of the audio during the ceremony so no matter where we are in the room filming, we get good clear audio of the vows and other things that might be said or songs that might be sang.  We also use portable field recorders to capture live band audio, and toasts allowing for the best possible audio of those events as well.

Can I change a package?

Absolutely.  Our packages are simply there as a model.  We offer a variety of add-on services that allow you to customize any package, or if you would like we can build one for you from scratch.

Tell us about your company.

We have two very important goals that we strive hard to live by here at The Wedding Theater.  First of all, we want to be very up front about everything.  If you request something we will try our best to do it.  We try to stay away from terms like “Starting At” and “Request a Quote” because at the end of the day, this is your wedding we are talking about.  We want to make the business side of what we do quick and easy so we can move on to getting to know you.  Second, we want to capture moments as they happen naturally as often as possible so when you watch the movie, you relive those moments and emotions years and years from now.  Those are the two most important goals for our company.
